The authorities of the Israeli Ministry of Defence had recently announced that tests of the newest anti-rocket system – “Iron Dome” were completely succesful. It was created to protect this country from short-range rockets.
Fragment of the utterance by Israeli Minister of Defence: “Creating a system, that would completely protect our country from rocket attacks is absolutely significant. Our citizens need safety, and we will give them all protection we’ll can”.
“Iron Dome” is a mobile protection system, that can shot down most types of short-range rockets and all 155 mm artillery shells. It can work in any weather conditions and can be fastly relocated. It costed 200 million US dollars and would be activized next year.
